Even though it doesn’t feature any superheroes, Pulp Fiction is a movie that is beloved by many that are involved in the work of adapting comics to the big screen. It’s a highly influential film that changed how storytelling in mainstream movies was thought of. Perhaps as a nod to Tarantino’s masterpiece, Nick Fury’s tombstone featured the Bible verse Ezekiel, 25:17.
That was the very same verse used by Samuel L. Jackson in Pulp Fiction. Coincidence? Well, probably not, as Nick was played by none other than Jackson. What an awesome reference!
