Marvel movies love to contain small nods to franchises and characters that may not be quite as popular today. One prime candidate for such a treatment was Howard the Duck. The guy hasn’t seen much big screen action since his film adaptation in the 80s, so it was only right that he earned a covert spot in the ending of Guardians of the Galaxy.
He also appeared in that movie’s sequel, and even can be seen in Endgame. We’re sure that the handful of Howard the Duck diehard fans were completely thrilled when they saw him!
