The odds are that you aren’t really looking at the character’s jewelry when you watch a superhero movie. You’re in it for the massive action scenes and the epic fighting, and there’s nothing wrong with that. But the immersion will only be more complete if you develop a keen eye for tiny details, and yes, that includes jewelry. Here’s a great example.
In Captain America: The Winter Soldier, there’s a shot of Black Widow sporting an arrow necklace. It’s not much of a conceptual leap to realize that this references her relationship with Hawkeye, mainly present in the comics.
