Another common place to hide clues and references is in words. That sounds obvious, but any lettering or logos that seem random usually hold significance in Marvel movies. In this case, we are looking at a picture of Hawkeye’s child. He sees a photo of him on a smartphone during the 2015 film Avengers: Age of Ultron, and most people didn’t think twice about it.
However, a close look at the writing on the child’s shirt revealed that it said Nathaniel Pietro Barton. This must be the child’s name, and his middle name refers to Pietro Maximoff.
