[post_page_title]Going plastic[/post_page_title]
Speaking of the roof, and what poor shape it was in, Claire, Cal, and the rest of their gang had to completely remove the slates that were covering it one by one. They didn’t seem to have a choice – the roof was sinking, and that was causing the front wall to be pushed forward.
Before moving the roof back up to its original position, weight had to be taken off it, so the slates had to go. In their stead they placed a plastic covering, which was a lot more waterproof and allowed them to work dryly inside.
