[post_page_title]An unobstructed view[/post_page_title]
Jameswood was, as the kids say, tore up from the floor up. And this photo represents just that – a completely unobstructed view of the place from the ground floor right up to the roof. In most houses, being able to see the roof from the very first floor probably wouldn’t be a very good sign.
In Jameswood, however, it was great! Since the floorboards were rotten, they were stripped out, along with the insulation made of packed earth. It also allowed them to take a glance at the building’s joists, and decide which ones may be kept.
