At times, working on Jameswood Villa wasn’t just a mammoth of a task – it was downright life-threatening! The structure was in such an awful state of disrepair that nearly all of the timbers needed to be replaced.

Of course, that left the ceilings of every floor up to the roof very much in need of some structural support. Problem? No problem – the crew simply rigged up some props, which were expressly designed to hold the already-shabby woodwork in place and stop it from collapsing midway through the work.
