At the end of the day, it was all about perspective. It would’ve been all too easy to lose heart – and hope – and despair at not only having bought the wrong home but also facing a monstrous renovation project.
But instead, they preferred to view it as their own personal “happy accident.” It wasn’t what they had originally envisioned, but life was an adventure, and should be treated as such. They much preferred to embrace such happy accidents than despair over them.
