Former boxing champion Frank Bruno did not enjoy Piers’ direct, curious questioning during his interview on Good Morning Britain. At one point, Piers asked the legendary boxer if he’d ever thought about facing Muhammad Ali in the ring.
To which Frank just stared at him and solemnly said the late boxer is is hero, and that he was just happy to have met him – but that it would be cheap of him to say he wanted to fight him. Piers actually backed down and changed the subject rather than argue, which was a classy move on his part.
