Having an old, faulty car is no good. Not only is it annoying for you if your car isn’t working as it should, it’s also super unsafe. Cars have built in mechanisms that let the people around you know what you’re trying to do, and things become a lot less safe the second those mechanisms stop working. Take brake lights, for instance.
Without them, people won’t know that you’re slowing down, and they might crash into you. This person recognized this and came up with a DIY workaround. All they needed was a light switch.
