It takes a special kind of person to deliberately turn off someone’s heating system whenever the winter sets in. This person was facing -40° conditions, and they felt like there was little choice but to come up with this solution.
Their landlord didn’t want the heating to come on, but they forgot who pays the electricity bill. Even if it wasn’t the most energy-efficient way of doing it, at least this person managed to heat their home and avoid freezing altogether.
