For this hack, we need to go a little arts and crafty, but it’s well worth the time spent. First, mix together different colored pieces of play dough to create a color scheme to your liking. Roll it into a thin sheet, cut out round shapes and pop them in the oven.
Once they are out of the oven and cooled down, all that’s left to do is paint the edge with gold, add a layer of oil and voila; you have coasters that look like expensive, handmade artisan ones.
